Join Art in Context’s Annalee Andres for a Julia Morgan Tour of California.  We will gather in the Bay area on Wednesday March 13th and stay two nights in Julia Morgan’s famous Berkeley City Club in Berkeley, California.  Thursday we head out to see Julia Morgan’s best Berkeley/Oakland buildings with a Julia Morgan expert and scholar.   Friday we will head to San Francisco to continue our tour and have lunch at the Fairmont Hotel. We will travel by coach to Asilomar near Pacific Grove on the beautiful California Coast where we will spend two nights, relax and enjoy the retreat grounds that boasts Julia’s most extensive array of buildings.

Sunday morning we will head down the coast to San Simeon to Hearst Castle to visit Julia’s  most ornate building and take the newly crafted Julia Morgan Tour of the famous site. We will have dinner in Santa Barbara and reboard our bus for John Wayne Airport to collect our cars.

Tour includes guided tours,  two nights accommodation in a single occupancy at the Berkeley City Club, two night single accommodation and all meals at Asilomar, Julia Morgan city tour, admission to the Hearst Castle Julia Morgan tour, and transportation.  Price does not include airfare or food outside of Asilomar.   Optional group meals will be organized and will paid for separately. It should be said that the Berkeley City Club and Asilomar are historic destinations rather than luxury accommodation.
