COURSES
Art in Context courses range in topic from an in-depth two year course on Modernism to more focused investigations on a single topic such as Woman in Art in America. Lectures are created to be both informative and entertaining and can be enjoyed by those with extensive art history background as well as those new to the subject.
Art in Context offers three 6 week courses annually in Fall, Winter, and Spring. Classes meet on Wednesdays from 1-3 pm and are currently held at the Bower's Museum in Santa Ana, Ca. Lectures run for 1 hour 45 minutes with a 15 minute break after the first hour. Cookies are provided!
Art in Context in South Pasadena is held at the South Pasadena Theatre Workshop located at 1507 El Centro. An intimate and eclectic space in the heart of the city. Classes on Fridays 10:15 am - 12 noon.
