Dear Annalee.

We arrived home safe and sound, reflecting along the way the marvels we had enjoyed in Cleveland and Pittsburgh, both cities developed by industrious Americans and “robber barons, ” who left in their wake well-endowed museums, symphony halls, universities, medical centers and fabulous architecture. 

How fascinating to travel out of our comfort zones to enjoy these venues, and be led and educated by you.  We are profoundly grateful for all the preparation that took place to provide such a wonderful experience for all of us.  It was seamless!  Thank you so much.

I highly recommend Annalee Andres and her Art in Context classes.  Since 2012, Annalee has taken my wife and me on an exciting educational journey through the labyrinth of beauty, truth, fiction and, sometimes tragic history of art.  Her encyclopedic knowledge and enthusiasm always leaves us wanting more.  Not just another “art history course", Annalee’s Art in Context courses delve deeper into the political and social causes and effects on art and artists of the period.

Annalee’s “field trips” are an added bonus.  We have visited museums, studied art and architecture, learned what motivated art patrons to amass their collection in short trips by car and after flights across the nation.  What a treat to have a personalized private guided tour of museums before the general public with insights from local experts.  These special events are made possible through contacts made by Annalee during her career which has spanned the globe.

I have been attending Annalee Andres Art History lectures for the past two years. Annalee has a wonderful and informative way of presenting the Artists and the different art movements. We have had distinguished guest speakers and private art tours at local Museums. I have truly enjoyed her classes.
